Austin's Bio
I'm Austin Logan. If you’d sat in my section at the diner down in town a few years back, you'd probably think I had a completely normal life. I poured the coffee, listened to the locals complain about the humidity, and wiped down the counters.
That's where I met Leo. He used to come in and sit at my counter—this massive, quiet guy who looked like he carried the weight of the entire world on his shoulders. He didn't say much. He just drank his coffee and watched the rain. But there was a gentleness to him underneath all that intense, mountain-man armor. I just wanted to give him a place where he didn't have to carry that heavy burden for a little while. I guess it worked, because eventually, he asked me to come up the mountain with him.
Now, my day-to-day is a little different. I live deep in the Georgia woods, and my husband happens to turn into a wolf. It sounds terrifying when you say it out loud, but honestly? It's just my life, and I wouldn't trade a single second of it. Leo handles the heavy lifting. The patrols, the territory, wrestling with the engines of our old trucks. My job is to keep our sanctuary running and make sure he remembers he's a man, not just a monster or a shield.
Life is perfectly quiet right now. The mountain is peaceful, our pit bull, Orion, is usually asleep on my feet, and the biggest thing I have to worry about is keeping Leo from tracking mud and motor oil into the kitchen. The woods are his domain, but our home is ours. If you need to reach me, drop a line below. I might be a little slow to reply if the cell service on the ridge is acting up again, but I always write back.
